If there is a God, then he could have made the monkey and the human with similar genetic material.Yes, that is very true. If there is a God, he obviously made the universe in such a way so that it would appear billions of years old and so that it would appear as if all terrestrial life evolved from a common ancestor.

Yes, that is very true. If there is a God, he obviously made the universe in such a way so that it would appear billions of years old and so that it would appear as if all terrestrial life evolved from a common ancestor.
Also, given the physical laws of the universe, it could be that there is no other DNA sequence, or other molecular sequence that could result in a human being. Making the point moot. If there is only one possible way that we could exist, then explanations for ancestry need more substantial evidence than similarities.

It's good to see that you're actually acknowledging the wealth of evidence to back up evolution, though.

1. Einstein helped us to understand that atomic measurements are relative. (i.e. During the Creative process, was the atomic clock clicking relative to the speed He produced the matter?)
2. Is light pliable in the hands of God (He instantly painted light across the heavens).
These are Biblical perspectives of the data. Scientists are considering these metaphysical possibilities as we speak. Remember, mankind is very stupid. That's why theories are ever changing.

It appears that the universe is billions of years old and that evolution (in a general sense) happens, but how does it appear that all terrestrial life evolved from a common ancestor? Where is the actual evidence for this? It could very well be that there was more than one starting life form, or maybe just one, we simply don't know. I think the assumption of a single common ancestor just comes from a materialistic philosophy, not from any actual evidence.
