Although he borders the bottom of my personal favorites list, Jimmy Carter was our 39th president. Given that fact and my respect for that noble office, I do applaud Mr. Carters longevity and extend wishes for his continued good health and well-being.

I will add, Carter presided over the period when I first got laid. The girl was a Carter supporter but by 1980 I'd made her a Reagan voter.

In 1994 I visited Port of Prince a week after the US had acted to restore Aristed to power. US troops were everywhere and all of the walls along the main road leading from the airport to downtown were covered with fresh graffiti which read "CARTER LIED." I turned to a colleague and said, "these guys aren't slow. It has taken them days to grasp what much of our population hasn't grasped in decades."
Carter will probably live to be over 120; he is not going to be in a rush to go. He knows that when he dies he will have to confront our American forefathers, and they will be waiting for him with tar, feathers, and a red hot poker.

Now see if you can write that again while unclenching your hands.

I was also surprised to find out that Senator Akaka from Hawaii is 81 he looks much younger than that.

81 and still rotten to the core. He's a disgrace to this country.

To quite possibly the worst president - ever - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
An electoral reform commission, led by ex-president Jimmy Carter, seen here in May 2005, and former secretary of state James Baker said electronic voting machines used in US elections should give paper receipts to avoid suspicions of fraud.(AFP/File/Marco Longari)

I do not wish ill on the man, nor do I call for his death. He was immensely damaging to the United States and by allowing Iran's revolution to proceed, sowed the seeds for our present conflict. Suffice it to say, he remains a bumbler and incompetent. However, one does not wish death on the woefully inept. One wishes obscurity and for their names to fade into the mists of time.

There is a silver lining to this Communist dupe's disgraceful antics. His obvious anti-american leanings are opening the eyes of a lot of otherwise oblivious citizens to what the Democrat party has become.
