Sort of makes one a bit proud. As far as sharing treats from home, seems to be standard practice in the Corps. Everyone gets a bit of moms baking and Doritoes etc..

I think nephew with 2LAR Bn now returning flew out of Al Asad last week for Kuwait. It is the main Marine air base in Iraq.
Has two pretty long runways, one 9Kfeet the other 13Kfeet.
