"After working in the Dept. of Transportation, I retired for two weeks, then went back to work as a lobbyist for Blank Rome, and The SPECTRUM Group, using my maritime and Hill background. It's great to still be working, but I can't wait for the Kerry Admin. to come to town. In between assignments, I have traveled around the world with my boyfriend Herb -and tried to enjoy life! I am actively working on the Kerry campaign, on the Enviro Team, and doing fundraising for our next President."

Yeah, "I retired for two weeks" = I was out of work for 2 weeks.
