Just heard Melanie Morgan is leaving KSFO morning show, apparently due to differences with senior management of ABC Radio.

I just heard her say goodbye. It was a good run, Mel! She'll be back, somewhere. She may be brash, she may be snarky, but she puts her money where her mouth is, and she gets things done. Liberals are afraid of her -she's a total role-model for how conservatives should ACT - in your face, louder, and sticking to your principles.
Lee and OV don't do much for me, so I'll probably not tune in anymore. Sorry, guys, but without Melanie....snooooze....
Hopefully Mel will pop up on satellite radio with a show of her own. She deserves it!

No surprise, ABC News / Radio is also the home of folks like Terry Moron, Ted Koppel and a bunch of other airheads.
The talk show portions of the group who have KSFO as one of their entities , talk shows, are still liberally controlled, but as long as money flows in from ads, etc, they usually leave folks alone, regardless the political persuasion.
Maybe the most recent Cindy don't speak for me tour was too much for some at the top of the gold heap.

Yes. But they've been wondering about how long ABC would keep them for years. They have said some pretty harsh things about ABC's bias as long as I've been listening. They have made frequent editorial comments and fact corrections following the top of the hour ABC news network feed.
By firing the wife of the station's GM, they are hoping to 'send a message' to the rest of the conservative staff.
Knowing them, it won't have the hoped for chilling effect. Quite the opposite.

She did'nt really go much further into it - she has class - just said there was an impassable impass, and she was history. I'd agree, it probably has to do with Move America Forward - she's been gone a lot, and with Lee also taking regular vacations all the time, the show has had no stability. It's probably a conflict of interest situation, in ABC's eyes.
Go donate to Move America Forwrd - they do great work, and - she's more effective there, anyway, truth be told.
