Did you notice that he seemed to be reading from a "prepared statement", rather than just making the comments on the air? That part seemed very strange to me.

I'd almost bet he got the statement from the DA, being he was scheduled to be on this AM.

Anyone know where the couple picking up Newt Gingrich's phone conversation on the police scanner moved? They just happened to know it was Gingrich and others and just happened to have the Democrat congressional offices numbers handy to send a tape? Could they be on the grand jury in Texas?

I still say Gingrich was wired by a private detective and the Democrat trailer park scanner owners were paid off. ( IMHO)
