My brother, Eric, will be attempting to get his children back legally from his estranged wife in a little more than 5 hours. He has not seen his children, Korin (age 10), Damon (aged 9), and Aaron (aged 8) in over a month, and they are his entire life.
My sister-in-law is an extremely disturbed individual with numerous psychiatric and physical problems, and ran away with the children one day while my brother was at work. He does not know where any of them are, has had no telephone contact, and has been searching frantically for them ever since.
Would you please pray that Eric can be reunited with his children, and that none of them come to any harm? Unfortunately, my brother lives in a state that automatically assumes the mother to be the better caretaker, but in this case I am hoping the judge will see otherwise.
Thanks for reminding me! I've been so focused that this slipped my mind. I will pass this along to Eric this afternoon...
Prayers sent for him and his children.
My Dad says that Angela does not look good - dressed inappropriately, face puffy, etc., and that her lawyer was not prepared.
From here, we wait until all the psych evals are finished, and then the judge will review the findings and decide who should have custody. This will take some time. I have passed along all the very wise advice you have given me, and Eric said he will ensure that another adult is with him whenever he sees the children. And if he does not keep a diary, I will give him a very big pinch!!! :)
Thank you so much, my dear brothers and sisters, for laying my niece and nephews best interests before our Great Lord! I will keep you informed of any further developments. May you each have the best of holidays, and your heart's desires!
Prayers from TX
Wonderful!!!! Thank you so much for the update!
I guess I don't need to tell you to have a joyous Thanksgiving! You've already got one! Bless you, your brother and his children! I'm soooooo happy for you all!
That was definitely a good suggestion, that your brother include a third adult as a witness, perhaps a minister or social worker of his aquaintance.
OK and thanks. Oh by the way Thanksgiving is easy for us, we go to a restaurant and let them cook.
prayers continue
Giving Mom a break, letting Dad do something for her, and supporting the economy! A win-win-win situation. God bless you and your family...
Prayers - and a boatload of Praise - heading up!
Our community of Believers in FR constantly amazes me, for truly we share each others burdens. I have never been to a church that could claim the same. God bless you, my friend!
I am truly glad to hear the joy in your post. :) Happy thanksgiving to you and your family. God bless.
If feel for you. I went through this with my ex. I signed over everything; house, car, furniture. I left with a box of leftover dishes and cutlery. I had a visitation agreement which she spent five years frustrating including bringing in a Child Psychologist.
I had the Police called on me on trumped up charges and her father and three brothers showed up at one visit and threatened to beat the crap out of me.
For some reason love can very quickly turn into hate if your partner is mentally unstable.
Prayers for you brother and good luck.
