I do that when I am hyper about a subject. I hit the POST button with flourishing verve like "Ta Dah, so there!" When I apologize for my action, I call it a "burp. Once I had three "burps." I get so emphatic at times. : )

HOWEVER, a president has term limitations, and career congressmen do not. This is a very significant difference.

For instance, John Kerry, the absentee senator, the pro-Maoist, the global concensus seeker, served rather stealthfully in Congress for 20 years. Kerry emerged a presidential candidate undoubtedly hoping most Viet Nam Vets were either dead or suffering Altheimers.

Agreed, but they can do so much more damage in those 4-8 years.
