I wish the writer had given a reason that Bush would want to do this.

He's just mean that way. He also hates babies, puppies, and old people, too. :)

Greed.

I wish the writer had given a reason that Bush would want to do this.He can't give the real reason. If he does, he would immediately be attacked, told to readjust his tinfoil hat, etc.
I tell you, the time is coming when all these party loyalists are going to wake up and see that NEITHER party is interested in the good of the country. They are only interested in power and money. The New World Order can't come fast enough for them.

The real reason is globalism. The borders must be erased.

I DEMAND the writer, evidently a mindreader, give reasons why Bush is ignoring the border crisis. I do not attribute "greed" nor powerlust to Pres. Bush' character nor to his subconscious motives. The border crisis did NOT suddenly appear after Bush's presidency followed the Clintons' 8 years. However, after 9/11 terrorist attacks, securing the borders should have been an immediate response. Of course, if Bush has done so, "our" liberal-leftists aka as Democrats would then scream "nazi-fascist-racist police state". To the pathological Left, national security measures translate to a "loss of freedoms" and imposed fascism. Patho-logical = diseased logic.

He wants to pass the FTAA. Implemented, the FTAA codifies the "free movement of persons" to the United States from anywhere in the western hemisphere. His brother Jeb, who got in the media yesterday saying we need easier travel rules, has created an unconstitutional public/private partnership, which he heads called the Florida FTAA. Both Bush brothers are pushing for hemispheric integration in the western hemisphere along the order of the European Union which has effectively no borders within its boundaries.
One problem with this open border mentality, means opening up our country to people from countries ruled by communists, socialists and totalitarian dictators. A constitutional republic cannot withstand an onslaught of people who have not learned the value of our republic and the freedom that was secured by the blood of our ancestors.
