The INS has been doing random sweeps for illegals for years. When they tried to do it in California, the local officials would not allow them. So it's not just the Feds fault.
But I'm with you, if an illegal is caught in a criminal act, he should be deported immediately. There is no excuse for that not happening.
Sorry to say, your not with me. ANY illegal that is discovered should be deported. That is the LAW, and not enforcing the law is what has got me steamed.
These people are not Americans, and they have no right to be here, period. They are all criminals, they have violated our laws, and the government ignores it on purpose. The INS is neutered.
