In case anyone has a doubt about this little piece of theater. Miller didn't agree to testify to get out of jail or due to a release from Scooter Libby. She did it to make sure she would testify.

The Grand Jury expires 10-28-05. She would be out then and the possible criminal contempt charge is pretty unlikely.

Now she gets to be a hero to people and testify as she always intended to. I wonder how big a book deal she can get.

It's more likely that she was told she'd be going back to jail once a new grand jury was convened.
