Well, don't get me wrong...I do think there are good people in this world, but sometimes...damn. Just damn.

I live in a major city and after several years of living here I still don't know my neighbors. I try to acknowledge them and people actually make eye contact with me which prompts me to say hello or good morning etc, but nothing back. They were simply observing me like I had two heads. They don't want to know me; they want to see how they can avoid me or what I was wearing.

Strange times. In a city so large it is very possible to feel as if you are in the biggest desert on earth. Maybe it's a city thing.
