Maybe she didn't realize it.

The following states have two chuckleheads representing them-- California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. Six states were exactly what Carter won against Reagan in 1980.

The following were the split delegations who voted no-- Biden (DE), Bayh (IN), Harkin (IA), Stabeno (MI), Dayton (MN), Reid (NV), Reed (RI), Cantwell (WA).

Bayh is definitely running for president and polishing his hard-left credentials. Reid represents the only other state in the mix carried solidly by Bush but must be excused because he's (1)the minority leader, and (2)must take orders from the hard left due to said position. The marginal state senators (Harkin, Stabenow and Dayton) can be excused on the basis of stupidity. The others are merely representing their fifth-columnist majority constituents.

Well, but Connecticut is solidly Democratic, with two Democrat Senators, neither in any political danger at all (Dodd was just re-elected), and they both voted for Roberts.

Our two nitwits, Babs Boxer and ChiFi, both voted No, once again demonstrating their lockstep leftwing biases.
