In my area, the transition to where it's cheaper to use electric heat is at $2.03/CCF, although probably at a lower point since 100% of the energy output of the electric heater goes towards warming the house

If natural gas gets any higher, expect high electric consumption in the US as other people make the same calculation

Yet another reason to build more nuke power plants

Natural gas is used to fuel an awful lot of power plants, I would expect electricity rates to go up, too.
