What are the issues that are driving this election?

Will McGreevey endorse Corzine? We can only hope... ;-)

Property taxes is a big one

All that money and he's gonna have trouble carrying New Jersey??????? Looks like he's been gettin' advice from Algore (who couldn't carry his home state in 2000).

Corzine has started the attack adds saying the Forester is Bush's choice. If Doug's campaign were smart they would continue on the theme, or start on the theme of Doug just being for ending the status quo in NJ. Campaign as the outsider who wants to end corruption and keep portraying Corrzine as what he is, a straighter and richer Jim McGreedy.
To: Tired of Taxes
maybe we can get Florio to endorse him also?

I wonder how long it will take the Corrzine campaign to start running adds that tie Forester to DeLay (whispered Delay).

Forrester's TV ads are devastating and they are running nonstop on Philly TV. They show all these ordinary Democrats saying how they are fed up with the corruption in Trenton, and that only Doug Forrester has the integrity to clean up New Jersey. A new one last night uses the same format but talks about property taxes. The tag line is "I'm a Democrat, and I'm voting for Doug Forrester." These are some of the best political ads I have ever seen.

Property Taxes, Education, Security are the Big Three...We've got the Dems pinned on Taxes and Security (thanks to Golan-gate) The GOP is either going to win the Governorship or the Senate seat in 06...however I dont expect both.
To: FlipWilson
...Straighter...thats a stretch dontcha think?
To: Dems_R_Losers
True, they are great ads.
To: HHKrepublican
Corzine would be worse than McGreesy and his flunky replacement Acting Gov. Codey. Forrester needs to start making more noise.

Corzine's advantage over Forrester among likely voters was 48 percent to 44 percent in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, or just outside the margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points. Technically, 48-44 is NOT outside of a 3.3% MOE. But that's not important. It's clear that Corzine leads, but that lead is shrinking into a potentially "competitive" race.
Good news!

My bet is that the Newark Star-Ledger-Liar will get all the dirt out on Corzine first, and then start attacking Forrester as the election comes due. They get to claim to be non-partisan, while still moving a few percentage points to Corzine.

WOO HOO!! At this rate we'll be +2 By Election Day. I'm just hoping that he's not +10 a few weeks before Election Day or he'll resign and Democrats with invoke the Torricelli Rule on Forrester, yet again. Doug Forrester was never my favorite but he does seem to be quite proficient at tearing down Democrats. He just needs to time it better this time.
To: HHKrepublican
What are the corruption issues? I don't know naturally because the newspapers never print this stuff about the Dems.
