These are the homes on the hillside south of Yosemite and Katherine. Couple of blocks south from where we live. About 3 - 4 PM. Everything's OK today (except for the occasional burnt smell when the wind changes. But it was a pretty tense 4 hours yesterday afternoon!Glad everything's OK. It was a bit disconcerting when I came over Santa Susanna Pass yesterday and saw that the fires looked like they were coming off the hills and onto the flatlands -- where the houses are. I tell you, people who live in Santa Susanna have more guts than I do. It's amazing that the houses over there have lasted as long as they have.
