Arctic Ice Cap 'Will Disappear Within The Century'

Aren't the magnetic poles shifting? That would cause the north pole & south pole to swap polarity?

Would all of the north pole ice have to move to the south pole & the south pole ice move to the north pole?

Maybe new poles will form in the East & West. Sort of like maybe the Hawaii pole & the Cyprus or Sri Lanka pole.

Nope, the weather and ice are due to the tilt of the earth's axis in it's orbit around the sun. It will always be cold a the poles.

AFAIK, the swap is pretty quick (geological time-wise). It is probably due to simple magnetic principles (the core being composed of iron, etc.).
