The cases have always scratched easily regardless of iPod model.

I think it gives your well worn, used iPod character. :-)

Only Apple's users scream about scratches. Remember the Powerbook paint rants? Ridiculousness!

If you're too pathetic to buy one of these "Tubes" sets or a third-party equivalent then you're stuck on stupid!

My 40Gb Creative Zen Touch, by the way, has over 7,300 tracks loaded onto it so far, sounds absolutely fantastic, gets over 20 hours on a charge and cost me about the same as an easily-broken Nano with 1/10th the capacity. Funny how that works, huh?
