This is serious. No matter if he thinks it's frivolous, it's still accusations against him and he's been replaced already as majority leader. No matter what he thinks personally, it's bad face to be laughing about it on tv. Bull. This is a political hatchet job, and everybody in Texas knows it. The fact that he's smiling lets everybody else know it, too.

Judge Napolitano was on John Gibsons show earlier. Gibson asked if the charges could be trummped up. The judge didn't hesitate and said "YES".

Also there are two matters before the Court on matters similar to this, according to Jay Sekulow on Sean Hannity, today (I'm not sure if he was referring to the Texas Court or SCOTUS).

I missed the laughing part. I do see him smiling. Quite frankly he looks pretty straight-forward to me.

Well, fine let him wipe the floor, but you don't come on tv smiling like that. If he's been doing rounds with Earle for a dozen years then it's beyond a laughing matter. He should show the public he's serious about stopping this.

"Earle asked Hammer to allow him to ??investigate him?? for another 30 extra days and his Lawyers LET HIM!?"
That would seem to be a bonehead move, on the surface.
Runaway grand jury?

He can smile. During the Presidential campaign I was sitting a starbuck drinking a cup of coffee reading a book when a group of Kerry supporters, wearing all their flair, sat down at a table next to me...they were speaking loud enough for the entire place to hear them, ranting about how they hate Bush...and how they really hated Delay, and wanted to "get him"....that is the "dumbo crat" philosophy...they can ALL FOAD and Delay should just laugh at thier petty hatred....the dumbo crats think the are in the "right" doing the insidious, contemptible things they do...because the Republicans went after Clinton...what they fail to realize is...Clinton actually "did" something wrong...and the facts were always against slick willie...not so with Delay...this is just petty hatred.

Levin also explained today on Sean Hannity's program that it is corporations which are not allowed to contribute within 60 days of an election; in this case, it was a PAC which contributed...which does not come under what was cited in the Indictment (as I understand).

Dick DeGeurin will bitch-slap Ronnie Earl once again!

Why not? The charge is a joke.

Oh really? If he had come on TV all serious you would have been yammering about "how serious it is, DeLay isn't smiling!"
Give me a break.

No, but the moonbats are thinking this is bigger than Clinton's impeachment for the GOP. Wishful thinking.
