Just thought I would throw out the fact that this indictment was obtained by the very same political hack District Attorney (Ronny Earle) who got Kay Bailey Huthinson indicted and then, when the case came to court, Earle had to stan up in court and tell the judge in the case "Your honor I have no case."

Earle is a political hack of the first order and I will predict, here and now, that about the same thing will happen in this case!

I would really like the GOP to grow a spine and stand on something, but that is just wishful thinking.

We can start by taking back the $250,000,000 in pork to build a bridge to nowhere in Alaska. Better yet, cut the $1,600,000,000 (yes, that's $1.6 BILLION) in pork spending for Delay's District. Quite frankly, Delay has already risen two steps above his competency level. Forget about the indictment, he ought to resign over the stupidity factor.

The GOP is falling apart. Hillary is going to walk into the White House.

Only if we all turn into gutless little wonders like you...

I think Judge N thinks he is a nutball. You could kind of tell when he was talking about how the Guy indicted himself and has been the only person ever to do so.

Jeepers. That sounds like a nutball to me.

get out before anyone is forced to resign or step down.

Delay already has to temporarily step down...heard on FOX that some RINO(s)may have flip-flopped (think Kerry) against Delay

Doesn't say much for his constituents

Well you got at my best estimation 2,000 lib dem profs at UT-Austin, and they feed crap to the 40,000 or so students at UT-Austin, and don't forget the thousands of peripheral employees(secretaries, janitors, etc.etc.) and the crap these 2,000 or so tenured liberal professors goes wide and far amongst Travis county Texas.

We'll see.

Like I said, generally they don't indict at this level unless they feel they have something substantial. Otherwise, it could come back and hurt them bad. Ruin careers, etc. They know this.

That would be Ronnie Earle. He has political agenda written all over him. Ma Richards got PO'd about Kay Bailey Hutchison going to the Senate, so she sic'd Ronnie Earle to go on a fishing trip. Ronnie did not find anything. Granted, Hutchison was the Texas Secretary of Treasury, so her office was in Travis County. What the hell is the Travis County Prosecutor doing in Fort Bend County? Next thing you know he's going after people in Minnesota!
My sympathies to FReepers in Travis County. I hear that the conservatives who have to work in Travis County live mostly in Williamson County (Georgetown).

I found this post at the DUmp interesting:
I've got some sources on the Hill that hear the indictment's already been dismissed. They're higher level guys from the Republican side, so I don't know whether or not there's any truth to it, but that's the word I'm hearing. Don't shoot the messenger.

I'm sure the indictment of Hillary Clinton for conspiracy in falsely reporting campaign finances from a million dollar event in her 2000 campaign is to be forthcoming with expediency. /sarc

Not a chance it's on the federal level. We need to get a corrupt DA to indict her on some trumped up charges right before/during the primaries. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

OK but it does not change the charge and the mileage the MSM will get out of it. Newt went down on trumped up charges. The GOP needs to realize they are under the microscope. The GOP is not standing up for the principles they were voted into office. The are pushing the envelope of the law. They are killing themselves. It seem you have your head in the sand. This is reality and the GOP can recover but they better change today.
