He's merely ACTING as though he does, in order to help rewrite his bio (which currently concludes something like... resigned in disgrace after being caught red handed incorporating forged documents to try to influence a national election.

How does Dan Rather try to recover his fallen image? (get ready to chuckle). By lying, of course.
