OK. I am only about 1/3 through all the posts and have read 3 times that the the 2 Blancos can't be related because one is white and one is black.
#1 Black and white marriages are not that uncommon anymore.
#2 Some women choose to keep their maiden names and some will take their husbands name.
I'm not saying they are related, I have no idea. But to say they aren't, in some way, just based on the color factor is a little naive. Start thinking of possibilities (nieces, nephews, brothers, cousins, etc.)
If someone has brought this up in a post I haven't gotten to yet, I am sorry for repeating.

Many times the slaves took the last name of their owner. Could be the case with the Blancos.
