Isn't Nagin supposed to be testifying on the Hill today? If so, think he'll be asked about this? And I wonder if the Dems will try to provide cover for his imcompetence?

I'm not certain if the "Mayor" is testifying today or not.

It is my understanding that the Dims are boycotting the "illegitimate" hearings. That the lone Democrat, William Jefferson (D-La) [not on the committee] was allowed to question Michael Brown and went ballistic when Mr. Brown laid and filleted the Louisiana and New Orleans governments.

I would think that one or more Republicans on the committee would have the intestinal fortitude to get Nagin to make some comment on the NO police issue, even if just for the record, before they get evidence from the FBI report. We'll see.

What is it the left likes to say? "The whole world is watching"? ;)
