My neighbor came over yesterday to borrow something, and we chatted for a while. During our conversation, she told me about a friend of hers who recently died. Her medications had gotten mixed up, and she had a bad reaction, that left her in a coma for a couple days. When she came out of the coma, before they had an opportunity to evaluate any brain damage, someone at the hospital turned off her respirator. By the time anyone discovered it, she had been without oxygen for an estimated 20 minutes. They were unable to revive her, and she died.
Somebody tell me, just one more time, that this over, and it will never happen again, so I should just ignore it.
How very sad. Good thing the few around here were not around or she would have been dead the minute she went into the coma....ya know, can't be wasting perfectly good oxygen on someone in a coma!!! Sarcasm off////
No, I won't tell you that this stuff is over and will never happen again...I can tell you that it won't happen to anyone I love, that is a guarantee....and I will support and work to help those who cannot help themselves.
OK, I'll tell it to you, but it won't be the truth.
This will never happen to anyone ever again! You should just ignore it! ;-)
