Add that to Rather insisting his lie was truth and I see that the media is disintegrating before our eyes.

And the NYT leads that disintegration. Their own people studied the video of Geraldo helping with that rescue in NOLA and concluded the story the NYT printed was false. Yet the NYT adamantly stands behind the story. Like Rather, they are screaming to the world, "Yes, we know we lied, and now you know it too, but we still stand by our lies!" They are pathological.

Gotta hand it to Geraldo for threatening to sue. If he hadn't, there would have been no frame-by-frame study of that video in an attempt to fend off his suit, and no CYA conclusion that the story was false.
