Something is bothering me. On FNC, the scroll under the pic said that he "handed over the reigns". Shouldn't this be "reins"?

Obviously the scrollbabe was a product of government schools.

IN the Big Easy, I guess one "reigns" with one's hands on the "reins"! ;-P

WHomever handles the FNC chyron is illiterate. I have noticed it over and over during the past year. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to be corrected.
