Common sense my good neighbor goes a long way in hurricane season!
Absolutely!
There is no substitute for preparation!
We met some neighbors that we had never met after Katrina. A couple of us had to cut one older gentleman out of his house - trees fell on both sides blocking him in. I'm glad we though to check on him, he had broken his foot a week earlier and needed help.
Cordially,
GE

Glad your neighbor's O.K. I'm sure he appreciates your visit. We were hit hard with three storms last year. Trees down everywhere, roofs gone and major structural damage. NO ONE was seriously hurt except for many lacerations from the debris. Some of these homes were put back together just in time for this hurricane season.
I remember we were quite a hit around here because we were serving hot coffee when no one else had power. Life's little pleasures.

But according to some of these people, if he hadn't made arrangements to get himself out, screw him. Sometimes I hate freepers and their little attitudes.
