A woman can be President if she has the intellect,character and integrity of Margaret Thatcher.

In other words,if it happens,she'll be a Republican

I heard earlier today that this show has a Repub Pres who dies and the VP who is an independent takes over, I also heard this program is so that the public will get used to the idea of a woman president, be more accepting of the idea, ease into it, just like programs like Will and Grace makes gays more acceptable (apparently!) Women's groups here are having "premier parties". LMAO.

Actually yeah I am. I always like Geena Davis so my plan is to watch and see how the show goes.

Hell I thought this was ABC's copy version of West Wing. Networks imitate eachother like that all the time; you know, they beat a successful theme to death? That's all I thought this was.

Someone should ask Ms. Davis is she believes the plot of her movie "Long Kiss Goodnight". The pre-9/11 movie suggests that the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center was simply a "fund raiser" for US intelligence agencies that could no longer justify their budgets without the Cold War and they blamed it on a bunch of innocent Arabs. How exactly does Ms. Davis feel about that plotline these days, I wonder?

The Dems will probably counter that "Rush Limbaugh IS equal time", as Rush has stated correctly, so often.

They have equal time ... it's called "Air America".  It's not the GOP's fault it bombed.

Besides, I think the "equal time" pertains to individual networks.  If ABC gives a 30 second plug for the Dems, the ABC must give GOP equal time.  Same goes for CBS, etc.

I know you mean well but no, he isn't qualified because the VP must be able to serve as President and the two term limit prevents GW from moving up if Cheney is disabled. The good news is, the same applies to slick as hillery's Veep! No can do!
