My beautiful baby is a 4 year old Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky/Chocolate Labrador cross. His father was half Malamute and half Husky. Mama was a thoroughbred lab. He takes after his Daddy more now, thank God! I have two elderly cats, and my late husband's 17 year old Sheltie. We kind of thought may be the Spitz in the back pen got to the Mama as Teddy's tail curled when he was young. :)

Both of my dogs are smarter than most people that I know.

I had a pure bred Alaskan Malamute about 30 years ago.
Beautful dog but dumber than dirt.
Ate every stick of furniture in the house. LOL
And would howl all night at every full moon.
Ran out in front of a Mustang(car) one time, the dog flew up in the air and broke her leg when she landed. Bent the whole front end of the car. The owner of the car felt bad about hitting the dog. I felt worse about the dog bending up his car. LOL
