Washington is working HARD to do NOTHING about the runaway freight train....nothing.IMO, Washington itself is to divided, polarized between the socialist left and the moderate right, to be an effective force in the world or among the several States. We have a political dynamic of opposition rather than resolution, so it's no wonder nothing meaningful ever gets done.
