What is it in the koran that tells muslims, when in the land of infidels, or when outnumbered, lie to the infidels?

I have serious doubts as to whether islam can be transformed from a death cult to a religion.

Does ANYONE with one brain cell take this seriously? I don't think so. This is just posturing by the the "condemn but approve" PR crowd.

This "fatwa" has zero relevance.

They issued a fatwa when they had their "Oh crap the infidels are on to us" moment after the London bombings too.

Just this last weekend muslims stood in our nations capitol and chanted "intifada, intifada, intifada"

Unbelievable! Please show me the link of that news. I was too busy with Hurricane Rita & missed hearing about it.

Actually, I would disagree. Being ostracized by the Muslim community is the way to go after them.

"Hughes was also urged by 30 Muslim leaders to give American Muslims more influence over US foreign policy."

This would be funny if it wasn't for the fact that people are falling for it.

Hey- we hate muslim extremists too - no kidding! Now give us power.

Speaking not for EagleUSA, but for myself, I can only say that the idea of government "giving" a particular group political influence seems peculiar. Traditionally, influence must be worked for, organized for, and voted for, whether you are Muslim or a member of any other special interest group. And I would also like to see spelled out exactly what policies Muslims would lobby for. Liberals are absolutely alarmed when Christian conservatives enter the political arena - even to the point of suggesting that there is something un-American about their efforts - yet are curiously benign about the political involvement of Muslims. Do you think that Muslims would represent a liberalizing influence in American politics? If so, what example from the Muslime world can you cite as evidence for your belief?

That is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard, but we are in free republic.
------
The only ignorant people are like you who fail to recognize the strategy of saturation, as Vincente Fox, for example, is very well versed in using. The Muslims are no differnent, only in numbers presently. This country is inhabited by ONLY AMERICANS...not Muslims, not Mexicans, not any other isolated group. But that sadly is not the way it is shaping up, is it? We have but ONE FOREIGN POLICY set in Washington, which theoretically should be designed to support AMERICANS, not Muslims.

Muslims do not know HOW TO SPEAK AS AMERICANS. They still speak as Muslims -- and until that changes, they remain NON-AMERICANS.

"The fact is Muslim Americans are worth more per capita than the average White American."

I'm not sure I follow. You'd better get 'splainin before the kitties are called.

But here is the update:

"...says a pamphlet distributed at mosques and other religious places across the United States and Canada. The fatwa has been signed by representatives of more than 250 mosques and Islamic centres and endorsed by over 170 Muslim groups, leaders and institutions."

I can't find the thread but there was a commentary from the daily kos. I did find this comment from a DUmmie in the Dummie FUnnies.

"When they started chanting "Intifada," I was totally embarrassed...and beyond annoyed."

I wish Karen Hughes would get a real job. Her time and talents are being totally wasted schmoozing on this subject.
