Did America ever find out who was behind the original forged document? I mean where exactly did it come from? Who typed it up? This story left me with way more questions than answers............much like the Sandy Berger cover-up.

No. Plenty of speculation that it was somebody in either the DNC or Kerry campaign, but the evidence was not followed.
