I agree with you. It's a waste of money to invest RAM in computers that are 5 years old.....that's IF you can still find comparable RAM. It may be obsolete. Five years ago was in the 1g processor speed range.....regular ol' DIMM if I remember correctly, probably PC100. I doubt you can still find PC100 unless it is in someone's junk bin.

Oh, he's found it...in a computer surplus outlet...wait, that probably IS someone's junk bin. Well, I'm sticking to my guns on this one. I think it would be money wasted. Thank you muchly.
