As Mark Steyn recently observed, Republicans stand for limited government, for big government, and for everything in between. The Democrats stand for nothing, except for unrestricted abortions.
How true. Granted our deficit/debt is out of control now, but I shudder to think of what things would be like with the tax and spenders were in control. Not only would our debt be sky high, but our taxes would be out of control too. The high taxes would lead to job loss which would then lead to increased deficits/debts. No matter how bad things get, you can always count on dumbocrats to make them worse. That's why I think the '06 elections are so important. We really need to maintain our majorities.
