Absolutely right. The school is also educating parents. The parents are being taught that they can't live in sin, and expect the school to take over the parental responsibility of being good examples. You have to wonder about the hypocrisy of parents living in sin, who want their kids raised with Christian values.
Spoken like someone who doesn't know the scriptures. Jesus quickly condemned sin. When he received sinners, it was to preach repentence. What you want to do is sacrifice children on the alter of political correctness.
>>>Leave the walking among the "undesirables" to the adults who have made their decisions about what they believe>>>
But this is a child who through the continued attendance at this school might have outgrown her parents 'choice' and became a very valuable and loving Christian. Now bigots have left Christianity as a foul taste in her mouth. But you, and the others here, go ahead and justify your behavior and tell it to God later.
>>>How can these good Christians ever hope to "save" this child by turning their backs on her?>>>
I agree.
I wouldn't want my child hearing about "carpet munching" or some other disgusting practice while in their Christian school. I seek to protect my children as long as possible. The parents who are paying thousands of dollars deserve to have a safe, moral environment for their children, without having to
worry about what immoral information is being passed along by lesbian activists.
It'll never fly (a lawsuit). The lesbeans most prolly agreed to an admissions policy and if they took the time to read it, most prolly lied to get the child admitted.
>>>When he received sinners, it was to preach repentence. What you want to do is sacrifice children on the alter of political correctness>>>
What a crock. Spoken like someone who wants to find reasons to and excuses to not live as Jesus taught. He received sinners to teach repentance, yes. But he did not cast them aside. This young girl is the sacrifice in your hatred. Her lost soul is on all that cast her aside for her parents sin.
Shame on you.
>>>I wouldn't want my child hearing about "carpet munching" or some other disgusting practice while in their Christian school.>>>
How crude and sad you are. Who said this little girl talked about "carpet munching" anymore than a heterosexual's child talked about blowjobs.
How pathetic.
I don't want my children hearing about having "two mommies" either.
But you don't think anyone else has any rights. That's pathetic.
>>>But you don't think anyone else has any rights. That's pathetic.>>>
HAHA!! I never said anything about rights. I said I am dissapointed with some of those around here who CLAIM to be Christians.
Why in Heck would a couple of sickos want to send 'their' kid to a "Christian" school anyway? Why would not send her to that great institution: the public School system, they are so proud of?
The answer: they have an agenda... this does not smell good, I can spot it a mile away.
>>>I disagree with this decision. If anyone could use a good, solid Christian education, it's this poor girl. It's not her fault that her immoral "parents" are using her for thir own selfish purposes.>>>
>>>I agree wholeheartedly. I hate that many on FR rejoice this decision as it validates their hatred. Jesus hung out with many 'undesirables', but they needed it the most.>>>
Parents who are under the influence of drugs and alcohol should be allowed on school grounds? Parents who are pedophiles should be allowed on school grounds? Lesbians should be allowed on school grounds?
Jesus called these people to salvation, but I have not read where he invited them onto school grounds to influence children.
>>>Jesus called these people to salvation, but I have not read where he invited them onto school grounds to influence children.>>>
Oh whatever! This is a CHILD. A child who has a chance to be positively influenced by other CHRISTIANS. Guess that is lost on this crowd. As I said, leave the whiny excuses for your date with your maker.
"Oh whatever! This is a CHILD. A child who has a chance to be positively influenced by other CHRISTIANS. Guess that is lost on this crowd. As I said, leave the whiny excuses for your date with your maker."
And there is a school full of other children that could be negatively influenced by this child and her family who live in a way that is against the teachings of the Church.
The school has a duty to maintain a proper environment for their students. They also likely have to be careful to apply their rules consistently because they're in California.
This is the kind of problem you get when you have an amoral government that allows a pair of lesbians to adopt and raise a child.
This school cannot change that. They can't take the child out of that environment. There's no good solution to this problem, but I don't think their decision is unreasonable.
All people sin, do they not?
Do you have any proof that the women in this case were doing anything like you alledge?
Talking to the crowd about what, precisely? Talking to the crowd in what tone of voice, precisely? Talking to the crowd after they were asked not to talk to the crowd, perhaps? Naturally, the APe story didn't detail the whole story.
Where in the bible does it say some sins are worse than others?
