Before I respond, I want to make it perfectly clear I'm not trying to diminish child molesting or pederasty in ANY WAY!  That being said, in the example you have, it's even worse, because it destroys the boundry of sex not having a place anywhere.  I mean if the home and your family isn't a sex free zone, where is one?

it has to do with clear boundaries set on preserving innocence, maintaining trust and parents/adults being sources of comfort and refuge.

Molestation destroys all that...

We all pass from child to adult, but the lines should be clear, not blurred. The earlier the molestation starts, the more blurred or even non-existant the lines become.

So often molestors begat molestors.
