Is Iran is trying to take a portion of Iraq, divide the country, then blame it on Bush?

If the Mullahs get Iraq's oil to shore up their power, does it doom the democracy movement?

I would assume they don't want to exactly destroy Iraq as a 'lesson to Bush', but they sure as hell want to control it, even if by some shadowy 5th column both in Gov't and in general places of influence.

I'd think at this point they are content to 'bide their time' and keep things peaceful while they set up shop. And the Brits made it VERY clear from early on, that if they kept their head down, they would be left alone.
