One of my most memorable moments was when John Belushi was the musical guest, and he sang the song With A Little Help From My Friends and during the climax of the song, he was flopping around on the stage like a fish out of water pouring beer all over himself.

What was even better was about 6 months later they had Joe Cocker on (Who Belushi was imitating in the song/show) and he did the same thing (with Belushi watching from the side of the stage). It was classic!

Hahahahaa! I remember that! We used to joke, "is it live, or is it Memorex?" he had Joe Cocker down pat : )

Those were the golden years of SNL. Remember the skit of "the guest that wouldn't leave?" Jane Curtain, I forget who the man was, but John Belushi was the guest.
