Aaron Broussard and Tim Russert: The Saga Continues (Lyin, Cryin & Caught!)

The same is true of Chris Wallace on Fox. Barely 24 hours after Rita had made landfall the judge in charge of Beaumont and Port Arthur was complaining about the Fed response. First he said that he had to go through Sen Hutchison to get Bush to make FEMA do what was necessary for Beaumont and Port Arthur to evacuate. He did not explain why Beaumont and Port Arthur needed FEMA to do anything before they could evacuate. I have begun to suspect that what he wanted was for FEMA to agree to pay for the evacuation before he would evacuate, but I will
never know because Wallace asked no followup questions. The the judge said that he was upset because FEMA was too slow in getting him the generators he needed. Again he did not explain why he needed FEMA to send in generators within 24 hours of a hurricane, instead of using what was close-by. I will never know why because Wallace did not ask.

Most of these talking heads know nothing about anything their producers have not briefed them on.

I believe Rush attempted on many occasions to paint Russert the same way, as an intelligent journalist undeserving of the ciritcism he got. On that point Rush and I disagree. I never found Russert intelligent, only pompous to the point of wanting to appear intelligent, which is an oxymoron for a leftist, and real obvious to the conservative.

I saw this interview and was totally amazed at Broussard's ability to literally switch personalities from the lying, crying POS to the indignant parish official who blamed everyone from his staff, to the Red Cross to FEMA for the problems in LA. Broussard really is scary.

This guy is under federal indictment for pre Katrina misdeeds.

Not to turn this into a Rush bash fest, but Rush makes me talk to myself. I guess that's why I listen to him so often. The fact that he is more "right" than wrong, together with his many mini-holidays, (allowing for excellent sub hosts) is a big plus.

As for Russert, he is but a sock puppet of the left, as anyone that listens to him, over time, can surely tell. Though not as continuously and openly bias as others, he is a puppet none the less.

And then to top it off, Timmy had the nerve to THANK Broussard for coming on and setting the record straight! The combination of no shame, no brains and the balls to think that they can pull this over the eyes of any thinking public makes me puke.

I listened to this as well. This man is a particular type of low grade liberal filth; to lie about an elderly persons death and once caught in the lie, have the mendacity to attack those who caught you.

Russert let him get away with it.

The problem with the elites in the media is that they think Americans are dumb enough not to figure this out for themselves.

I don't know anybody, outside of the media, who was dumb enough to buy that Bush or the Feds were at fault in any of this.

Orange County ( Beaumont and Port Arthur) is one of the last dim areas in Texas. They are big union areas.

I am beginning to think that all these Rats are covering their own butts, by spinning all the blame over to Fema and Bush before anyone can realize this. They were told two or three days before the storm to evacuate all those old people. And they didn't get off their butts and do anything. I also know if you have a certain amount of funds in your budget and you don't use it, you can put it back into your own pocket. I saw a program yesterday where they were saying the parts of the levee that broke were the parts that the Rats controlled. They have all been given the money to fix these levees for years and they have chosen to spend the money on other things. Or it has disappeared. I somehow believe a huge scandal will come out of this whole thing, before this is over, and it's all going to be about Rat corruption!
