As a Christian woman, I have to say that I am also sometimes repulsed by the prurience of Western culture. However, I'd much rather live in a society that offers freedom, even if the results aren't exactly to our liking all the time. Islam only offers enforced virtue, and as Dinesh D'Souza has said, "Enforced virtue is no virtue at all."

And what does that “British culture” mean to an 18-year-old Muslim girl? The stereotype she draws is dismaying: a national taste for getting bladdered at nightclubs, an insistence that girls wear sexy, skimpy clothes, are judged solely on their looks and whether they’ll put out for boys.

Actually, she seems to be rebelling against the same thing I have taught my daughter to rebel against.

Of course I have a daughter. I have a daughter who is not trying to undermine the society she lives in. You find this amusing? You think it's just teenage BS? We better get serious about the Islamofacists in our midst, these "girls" will be happy to strap on the suicide belt under their hajibs and blow up women and children in the local supermarket, and everyone will be so "shocked, shocked" when that happens.
