Which is not to say that all Libertarians would agree with any or all of the points Sullivan makes in the quote you provided. Libertarians disagree among themselves to at least the same extent as Republicans do. And this thread is a great example of Republicans not agreeing with each other. Democrats would be no different in this regard.
