ROFLMAO. You ever been in an Army convoy? The only plus they have is taking their own fuel along with them.

Yeah, it does seem funny, and of course one of the big problems that the Army always faces when it moves is traffic jams. Remember the scene in the movie where Patton acted like a traffic cop? Still, I am talking about directly supplying gas to cars that had run out. TXDOT OBVIOUSLY knew little about that. Let us not forget that the military, as infuriatingly inept as it often seems from the inside, has been lighting fast compared with civil agencies during these emergencies.
