Deborah Johns: Her speach FOR AMERICA!!

Sep 25 11:47:17 2005

>> Thank you so much. You know, like melanie said, I have been going from state to state, city to city and saying cindy sheehan, you don't speak for me and are you not the voice of the majority of the american public. I'm not sure what part of this sign that she does not understand, support our troops. The army, the navy, the air force and the marines, what doesn't she get? Yeah, right, nothing, uh? You know, i have two things I would like to say to president bush today.

Mr. President, i certainly would love to have the opportunity to have a meeting with you to shake your hand, to thank you for being a great leader to, thank you for being a godly man and someone my son can be proud to serve underneath. And then i have a request of president bush. I need to ask president bush, may i please borrow the uss ronald reagan because there was about 100,000 people with cindy sheehan yesterday that I would like to ship to iran.

You know, in traveling from city to city and state to state, i have been to capitals and monuments, i have seen tears in the eyes of the face of the american moms and dads who have lost their sons that have served this great nation.

I have seen tears in the eyes of korean veterans, vietnam veterans, world war ii veterans and the current moms and daddies that have their sons serving in iraq and afghanian to say thank you for what you're doing, thank you for being the voice of the majority of americans because we're not going to be silent anymore and we're going to push back to those knuckleheads over across the other way. You know, folks, enough is enough. How can somebody come to the great capital here of washington, D.C. And make statements that america isn't worth dying for? How can she make the statements that the military men and women that don the uniform, carry the gun are the ultimate murderers and terrorists. These great gold star families that sit before me, sons and daughters that served with my sons and daughters are not the ultimate terroristS. And shame you on, cindy sheehan for saying. So if you feel that way, then you know what, cindy sheehan? It's time you packed your bags and went home. If she doesn't think that this country is worth dying for, pack your bags and go home, cindy sheehan. You do not speak for the majority voice of the american people. Yeah, don't go home, go to iran. You know, cindy, she has made the statement that she does not want another mother to lose her son in iraq. Well, does she not think al jazeera is taking notes of comments she is making? Does she not think that al jazeera is inspired to continue to inspire those terrorists to fight another day, fight a little harder? And her actions are what is causing another mother to lose their son in iraq. So go home, cindy sheehan, I've had enough.

You know, for the first time in our nation's history, we have an all-volunteer military that is serving this great country and cindy sheehan's son casey was one of those great heroes. You know, i think it's pretty sad that I'm case, that casey's military mom, like all of us military moms feel that all those children are our children, right? I think it's sad that I am the military mom singing casey's praises and his biological mom is not. You know, she can take that death benefit money that's provided to her by the military and quit her job and travel across the country and spew hate and anger, but she has yet to place the head stone at her son's gravesite to honor him as a true american hero. Why doesn't she take that million dollars that she has taken out in the ads across america to hurt our gold star families once again and to use their names for her own political agenda. I think casey could have a mighty fine head stone if she would put the money in the right place.

You know, folks, it's no wonder why the poll numbers are a little bit low about the support for our men and women, their mission over there in iraq. That's right, that's the media to blame. How come they like to focus to negatives from cindy sheehan day after day after day, but yet good morning america, ted koppel, george stephanopoulos, they won't give us the time of day. Shame on them. That's their fault too. You know, why aren't the great stories that specialist kevin pannell just told us, why isn't he making the media in his wonderful stories? Why aren't the great things that the fact that a power plant in 1978 was built in iraq by saddam hussein, but that power plant never got turned on until our military men and women showed up on the deck.

You know, there's a teaching hospital in tikrit that received tons of medical supplies from our military men and women so that those little children could get the necessary medical care that they need. None of that happened for those children until our military men and women showed up on the deck.

There is a doctor over there in ala aba running a clinic out of his own home for farmers and poor people. Our military men and women supplied him with all the medical stuff necessary to care for the poor and the children and the farmers. That doesn't happen until our military men and women showed up on the deck. But yet the media doesn't want to report those great things. How come?

They're responsible as well, just like cindy sheehan for continuing to focus on the negative, for their failure to look at the great things that go on here in america, that go on in the united states. We need, ladies and gentlemen, to continue to push back to the main stream media and tell them we're not going to take this anymore. If they don't start reporting what our sons and daughters are doing, the great things and stop being biased in their reporting, then you know what? We will put them to uss ronald reagan too.

>> You know, i cannot thank you all enough for the warm welcomes that you have given me across the cities and the states. You know, in my travels and continuing on to say cindy sheehan, you don't speak for me. I know you don't speak for the voice of the majority of the american people. So folks, when you go back home today to the quietness of your oun towns and your own cities, you've got to continue to push back to the main stream media. When your sons and daughters come home from their service in iraq and afghanistan, or the military members that you support, go out and breathe them at the airports with your flags and urbaners. Tell them how much you love them. Go sign all those beautiful banners that i have been taking from city to city so that we can get them sent over there to iraq and afghanistan and to tell our troops we love them, we support them and we're going to be here so they don't have to fight another media war and we're going to support them until their job is done, until they want to come home and they know their mission is completed.

Thank you. So thank you all again for your warmness, your joy. You have given me blessings that i will carry with me the rest of my life. And I'm so honored to be a part of this, to be a part of move america forward. And I'm so proud to say that I am a very proud mother of a united states marine who has served two tours of duty in iraq and my son's reenlisting and he will be going back again next year too.

So god bless all of you and i appreciate you and thank you so much.

>> Ladies and gentlemen,
