Keep up the good work... There's a lot of Freeping work to be done in your home town of Takoma Park! ;) but it sounds like you all are up to it.

Here's a link to an earlier thread that has pictures of the "take-over" by the Protest Warriors and the College Republicans. I especially loved how they stopped them dead in their tracks. This report just had me grinning lterally ear to ear!

Great line! Follow the stench, indeed. Short and pithy!
Or, perhaps: Suivez les mouches!

Oh! Now it makes sense. Well, the license plate anyway; not the message.
To: The Grammarian
I don't even know how I caught it to begin with.
She roared past us in a blur of terrifying speed yet the license plate practically jumped out at me.

"Follow the stench of urine and burning American flags. That's where your rally is." The Washington Pest probably thought this made you look bad, so they quoted it, but I think it is top-notch--a form of genius!

re: The woman who was waving a flag and saying "We love you, we love you" to the marchers.
I did not witness any one on our side of the barricade doing this. I am wondering if the author of the article misheard my own mantra for the day which I must have said a guzillion times?
"Al quaeda loves you, baby!"

"Follow the stench of urine and burning American flags. That's where your rally is." Next time there's an antiwar protest our side could put up helpful official looking signs that read "Follow the stench of urine and burning American flags this way" and then have an arrow pointing in the direction of their protest. Makes a nice statement...

We also chanted "Hillary voted for the war" and "Casey volunteered." Nice to remind them of things they'd rather ignore. I also thanked them for bringing their tourism dollars to DC.
