Not proud of it, but I don't keep up with environmental issues. I've watched many documentaries and read articles about animals losing their natural habitat. Bears and other animals ending up on people's front lawns...things like that.

I'm an animal lover. I know saying that around these parts often makes one a target, but I really love animals.

I love animals, too.

They go really good with things like french fries, stuffing, and steamed vegetables.

Well, I'm an animal lover, too, which is what I meant earlier in saying I love wilderness...habitat is essential to the survival of all species, and not just humans.

Most people are "lovers" of wildlife, wilderness and many are conservatives (as I am). The point being that many current day "environmental groups" are doing/accomplishing less than conservatives in the preservation of habitats (and therefore the wildlife that lives on those).

I think there's enough blame to go around for everyone...the worst general trash I see going around is in Hawaii and California, two of the supposed most environmentally friendly states. Trash and general refuse does a lot to reduce quality and quantity of survivable habitat...for all species, including humans.
