I agree whole heartedly about the resilience of the environment...
BUT what IF we could use technology to burn cleaner and run cheaper than at present?
In the long term I mean...
We could come up with a whole lot more efficient ways of energy management and in the process create a whole new industry...and our national security situation could change drastically....
Thats not against conservatism... thats just using technology.

never mind, I just like the idea of renewable energy used responsibly.
It's not free, but it pays for itself...eventually.
I'm not saying that we shouldn't be proactive in going for cleaner energy solutions, but my point is that the enviro-wackos are overreacting to beyond the point of lunacy.
