Let's face it, what we had last night is a "regular" hurricane -- done by the book, to the best of their ability -- and I mean everybodys, i.e., government, the public, businesses.

This is the way it is done every single year all over the coastal communities of this country, whether it's a CAT 1, 5, or a tropical storm.

To me, that says VOLUMES about Louisiana.

You know what hacks me off about this? The suggestion that everyone responded this way b/c of Katrina. These evac and disaster plans have been in place for years. The authorities have planned for this all the time.

I agree with you completely. This really shows how badly LA bungled things.

To me, that says VOLUMES about Louisiana.

It says so much that we can expect a veritable cacophony of lies from the MSM to distract from it.

Great point. The underlying problem in NO was not Katrina, but corruption. More people died because of human stupidity and cupidity than died because of the power of nature.

But--of course--the MSM will not report this because it would make their beloved Dems look bad.
