The next big thing in cell phones, the New York Times reports, will be pornography. As more advanced phones feature full-motion Internet video, they will become portals for X-rated content. This is in keeping with a technological dynamic as important as Moores Law, which says computer chips roughly double in power every 18 months to wit, every technological advance serves the more efficient delivery of pornography.
We live in a world seemingly designed to gratify the teenage boy in the movie Animal House who is looking at a copy of Playboy when miraculously a cheerleader is thrown through his window and onto his bed. Thank you, God! he exclaims. Our raunch culture, as author Ariel Levy calls it, abounds in such moments for lascivious male teenagers of all ages. Among the forces supporting this pornified culture that gleefully objectifies women, according to Levy, are women.
In her Female Chauvinist Pigs: Women and the Rise of Raunch Culture, Levy asks how it is that if feminism won, so many unenlightened, bimbo-loving guys are so happy. She reports from the front lines, traveling with the crew of Girls Gone Wild, which films young women flashing the camera for videos sold on late-night TV. They are eager to perform. It sounds like a fantasy world dreamed up by teenage boys, she writes. Any hot girl you see will peel off her bikini top, lift up her skirt
all you have to do is ask.

Women are exploited and used because, uh, they want to be.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
Just like Rush said....
look at the "progress" feminism has made for the American woman.
If you thought drivers with cell phones were dangerous BEFORE....
Isn't it the left who preaches "Thou shall not judge"
Shouldn't that be "female chauvinist sows"???
"Women seem to think they can win men's approval by revealing as much of their busts as circumstances will allow and wiggling scantily clad behinds."
Women are right.
Part of the feminism establishment has never gotten the concept that freedom means having choices.
A liberated woman can choose to stay home with her kids but that offends some feminists. A woman can choose to be a sex object but again that offends some feminists who who want women to be free but only as long as they choose "correctly."
If you are not free to choose wrongly and irresponsibly, you are not free at all.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
Rush also says "I love the feminine movement - especially when I'm walking behind it!"
What's next, porn on the household thermostat?
Phones have a mighty small screen for "scopin' boobies."
I believe the term is "Sow." As in "Female Chauvinist Sows."
Women are exploited and used because, uh, they want to be.
___________
Silly you.
It the oppressive society! All those "Girls Gone Wild" models vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale and South Padre are so poor and disadvantaged they have to pose just to make ends meet.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)

Really? Would you want to marry somebody who made a habit of it? Would you want such a woman to raise your daughter the same way?
You're actually making the author's point for her.
No pics???? C'mon, it's a FR rule....no porn threads without pics......
This seems entirely unnecessary. Who is really going to watch porn in public? That can be the only need for this, otherwise you can find a much larger screen for porn.
It makes me think of David Cross's bit about porn magazines at airports. Apparently they are selling it otherwise they wouldn't carry it, but who is buying it? "Woah this will make the flight a little more enjoyable. I hope no one is sitting next to me."
