MS Coast and Mobile really have better Mardi Gras,anyway. More family-friendly,less violent and decadent,lots more fun and laid back. Definitely cleaner.We all call "Louisiana", "Lousyana". I understand that Texans do,also. They ought to be embarassed at the difference in the way they and their population handle hurricanes,and the way every other affected state has. Even they couldn't possibly be that oblivious to the difference.

I think it's becoming very apparent even to the most partisan out there that LA is in a class of it's own.
N.Y., MISS, Alabama, Texas, Florida...all go as smoothly as humanly possible whether terror or weather.
