There is an automatic 10-year bar against deported aliens from legally re-entering the U.S.

As if that'll slow them down.

Did you notice how ICE discriminates? They only send back the "criminal aliens".

"Our office ensures that the United States doesn't become a haven for criminal aliens," said Field Office Director Deborah Achim, who leads the ICE Detention and Removal Operations in Chicago. "Criminal aliens are not welcome here. ICE works daily to arrest and deport such criminals, especially those who are fugitives in their own countries. At the same time we help make our own communities safer."

Well, it's a start. My pipe dream is the politicians will start competiting with each other to see who can log the most deportations-- and the fastest.

Meanwhile, I would like to see a "Consular Court" set up for the following reasons:

• Illegal aliens suing for their "rights" in regular courts would have their cases tossed out because someone without the standing to legally be here, has no standing to sue.
  
• "Consular Courts", however, would agressively pursue cases for illegal aliens who weren't paid minimum wages, worker's compensation and were injured for safety violations. The only catch is that they must go back to their home country to file these cases.
  
• Employers thus sued would either have to appear in the Consular Court in the respective countries or hire someone to do so in their behalf.
  
• The courts could be self-financed with a minimum of seed money-- start with a tax on remittances to countries which supply an abnormally high number of illegal aliens, then another tax on the judgements rendered and remitted.
• The best part of all-- we could transfer judges outside the country to staff these courts! Lawyers would have to follow them.

  Is there any downside to this idea?
